Delivery & Return Policy

Deliveries are made Monday thru Saturday between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

After your order is placed, we will contact you to schedule a delivery date. Although we do not guarantee time-scheduled deliveries, we will try our best to work with each customer to schedule a delivery that best fits their needs.

Welch's Furniture ships to all 50 U.S. states using various freight companies. However, our drivers deliver within the state of Texas to all locations withing a 250 mile radius of our store. The delivery charge starts at $79 for all deliveries that do not include installation and are within a 50 mile radius of our Carrollton store. Deliveries outside of a 50 mile radius start at $129. If you live outside a 250 mile radius of our store, please give us a call before placing an order to receive a shipping quote.

Deliveries that include installation and are within a 50 mile radius of our Carrollton store start at $129. Deliveries that include installation and are outside a 50 mile radius of our Carrollton store start at $179. Additional fees may apply depending on what is being set up.

Free delivery options used with our coupon codes are Curbside Delivery only. With Curbside Delivery, we are not responsible for bringing the furniture inside your place of residence nor bringing furniture any farther than the curbside, parking lot, or garage should one be available.

Should inclement weather arise which we determine could possibly cause harm to the furniture, Welch's HomeFurniture reserves the right to cancel any curbside delivery to protect a customers product and reschedule to the next avaialble date. 

Please have your room cleared before our delivery team arrives. Our drivers are not permitted to move any existing furniture in your home.

If you pay for installation, we will assemble and set-up your new furniture in our home. However, we are not permitted to hang any items on your wall. 

Our delivery team will call you at the phone number provided with your order approximately one hour prior to our expected arrival time, in order to ensure your availability at the time of delivery.

All delivery fees are non-refundable once a delivery has been attempted or made. 

A $49 re-delivery charge will assessed if there is no one home to accept the scheduled delivery.

If you need to reschedule a delivery, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date to avoid being charged a $49 rescheduling fee.

Because of our commitment to providing you with outstanding customer service as safely and efficiently as possible, delivery personnel are unable to hoist furniture or carry furniture up more than 3 flights of stairs. An elevator must be available for deliveries to the 4th floor and above.

All customers are responsible to inspect their furniture when delivered. If, during the inspection, the customer notices visible damage to the condition of the delivery you MUST notate this on the receipt which the driver retains for our records. Any shipment that is not notated at time of delivery as being damaged will be considered by us and the shipper as being delivered in good condition and without damage. 

To avoid delivery day disappointments, measure the area you plan to place your new furniture in, as well as the furniture you have selected to purchase, before placing your order. Also measure any doorways (height and width) through which the furniture must pass to get to its final position in your home. Welch's Furniture will not be held accountable for damages to the walls and/or floors of your home due to an insufficient margin of maneuverability in doorways, hallways, and staircases.

If you insist the movers maneuver an item in a difficult situation, you will be responsible for any resulting damages to the furniture and the premises. The movers are not permitted to dispose of packing materials and those items will be left with you.

Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Welch's Furniture is dedicated to customer service. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return your item for an exchange or refund within 48 hours of the items being received. The following conditions apply for all returns:

1) A 20% restocking is applied to all items that are returned or exchanged.

2) All returns that need to picked up by our delivery drivers are subject to pick-up fee.

3) Any cancellations or changes to your order will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.

4) Returned items will only be accepted if they are unopened and unassembled.

5) Item(s) must be unused and free from damage, pet hairs, soil, or stains.

6) Item(s) will not be picked up unless properly packaged by customer including patching any holes or re-securing corners, box top and bottom.

7) Delivery fees are non-refundable.

8) No returns on all Upholstery. Upholstery returns will only be accepted if it is unopened and in its original packaging.

Credit card payments will be refunded back to the original card used. Payments made by cash or check will be refunded by check. No cash refunds will be made. Once your merchandise has been returned, please allow up to 7-10 business days for the processing of your refund.

Purchases paid by PayPal will be refunded within seven calendar days to the email specified during the ordering process.


We work closely with our vendors and strive to make 100% certain that all product colors, dimensions, and angles are exact; however, there are sometimes small discrepancies. Welch's Furniture will not be responsible if any of these are slightly different from what was advertised. All of our information is provided to us by our vendors. Any questions or hesitations based on color or dimensions must be discussed before placing your order, and if not fully addressed, Welch's Furniture will not be held responsible. Always measure the space you plan on placing your new furniture to make sure it will fit prior to placing an order. If an item does not fit in a customer's home and needs to be returned, customer will be charged a 20% restocking fee as well as round trip actual shipping fees incurred by Welch's Furniture.


Furniture purchased "As Is" or from the clearance center has no warranty. The furniture sold by Welch's Furniture is warranted by each manufacturer, not by Welch's Furniture. However, we do process all manufacturers warranties as specified in their catalogs. All merchandise we sell is from reputable companies with excellent quality control, but defective items are occasionally shipped. In most cases, defects are minor in nature and can be cleared up in the home by a professional furniture technician. In the event you receive an item you feel is defective, please send us photographs clearly showing the defect along with a written description so that we can assist you with submitting the claim to the manufacturer. While none of our manufacturers offer refunds for defective furniture, the manufacturer will be willing to repair or replace the item if the situation warrants. Welch's Furniture, working with the manufacturer, will determine if an item needs to be repaired or replaced. Natural flaws and imperfections in wood add to a piece’s beauty and charm and should not be viewed as damages or defects. Natural stone varies in color and veining, and there is no control over veining or color.
